Meet The Staff
Hi I am Emma White and I am Owner/ Managing director of Woodlands Nursery. I have worked with children for over 22 years and I am a passionate supporter of the Montessori ethos. I also manage another nursery in Ipswich called Small World Kindergarten. I am passionate about creating stimulating environments for children which promote active learning through experiences and ensuring my team are supported and well valued creating a happy environment for everyone.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband Rick, son Finley and my other puppy son Otto. I also really enjoy cooking at home.

Hi I am Jeanie Butler.
I am the Manager here at Woodlands Nursery and I look after the daily running of the setting and curriculum. I have my foundation degree in Early Learning at the University of Suffolk and a Level 3 in Forest School. I am Safeguarding Lead, health and safety officer.
I strive for a stimulating, safe and enriching environment providing the best education for the children.

Hi I am Hannah Vaughan, I am the deputy manager and room lead here at Woodlands Nursery. I am currently working in the Snuffling Hedgehogs room.
I have almost 10 years experience, working over the ages of 3 months to 7 years. I have a Level 6 qualification in Early Learning and particularly enjoy exploring the outdoor area.
In my free time, I enjoy taking my Labrador for walks, baking and my husband and I are currently expecting our first baby in 2024.

Hi I am Louise Cowderoy, I am an Early Years Practitioner here at Woodlands, working in the Bouncing Bunnies room. I have a degree in Children and Youth Work and have been working in Early Years for over 10 years.
In my spare time I take my cheeky Cocker Spaniel for walks with my two children. Before starting my family I enjoyed travelling and love sharing my stories with the children from all over the world.
Hi I am Ellie Gallagher
I am a Level 2 nursery assistant in the Wriggling Worms Room.
I have wanted to work in childcare for a very long time. My aim is to make sure the children under my care have a safe and great experience at nursery.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family.
