Hi I am Emma White and I am Owner/ Managing director of Woodlands Nursery. I have worked with children for over 22 years and I am a passionate supporter of the Montessori ethos. I also manage another nursery in Ipswich called Small World Kindergarten. I am passionate about creating stimulating environments for children which promote active learning through experiences and ensuring my team are supported and well valued creating a happy environment for everyone.

 

In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband Rick, son Finley and my other puppy son Otto. I also really enjoy cooking at home.

 

I would be so proud to welcome and show you around our setting.

Hi I am Chloe Bambridge. I am Manager here at Woodlands Nursery. I do the daily running of the setting. I have obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Early Learning at the University of Suffolk. I also have my Level 2 Forest School qualification. I am Safeguarding Lead, health and safety officer and holiday club lead.

 

I strive for a stimulating, safe and enriching environment providing the best education for the children. In my spare time I have my own eyelash extension business which I love and I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. 

 

I would love to show you around our amazing nursery.

Hi I am Tara Matthews, I am Deputy Manager here at Woodlands, currently working with the wonderful Bouncing Bunnies. I have over 15 years experience, covering a variety of roles and looking after children aged 3 months-5 years. I am Level 5 qualified in Leadership and Management in early years and also Makaton trained.

 

After only recently moving to the area, from Wiltshire. I have enjoyed spending my spare time exploring the local area and going on some beautiful walks with my family.

Hi I am Emma Bartholomew, I am an advanced practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery and work in the Bouncing Bunnies room. As well as being the setting’s Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. Some of my qualifications include, Level 4 Advanced practitioner and  Level 2 Forest School. I have 10 years of working in Early Years, and enjoy coming into work every day. I am passionate about providing a safe, secure and fun environment for the children in my care and love the child led and natural approach to learning.

 

In my spare time I am a Mummy to my fur baby Joules, and love lots of family walks. I also enjoy Formula one, travelling to watch races around the world.

Hi my name is Rebecca Hodnett and I am a practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery and work in the Wriggling Worms room. I have a Level 3 childcare qualification. I have worked with children from the age of 6 months upwards for the last 6 years, which included working abroad for two years.

 

In my spare time I enjoy walking my miniature Schnauzer, Marley and I love travelling abroad and exploring different countries and cultures.

Hi I’m Jade and I am a practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery. I work in the wriggling worms classroom. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Early Learning at the University of Suffolk. I have worked in childcare for the past 8 years.

 

In my spare time I love going to musicals and concerts. I enjoy spending my time with my 2 beautiful girls and I am a crazy cat lady.

Hi I am Hannah Vaughan, I am an advanced practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery. I am currently working in the Snuffling Hedgehogs room. I have almost 10 years experience, working over the ages of 3 months to 7 years. I have a Level 6 qualification in Early Learning and particularly enjoy exploring the outdoor area.

 

In my free time, I enjoy taking my Labrador for walks, baking and I am also trained in acrylic and gels nails.

Hi I am Hanna Baines, I am a practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery. I am currently working in the Snuffling Hedgehogs room. I have 8 years worth of experience, working with children from 1 to 7 years and have gained my level 6 qualification in Early Learning at the University of Suffolk.

In my free time I like to travel and explore new cities and cultures. I also enjoy baking, spending time with my family and taking my dog on long walks.

Hi I am Louise Cowderoy, I am an Early Years Practitioner here at Woodlands, working in the Snuffling Hedgehogs room.  I have a degree in Children and Youth Work and have been working in Early Years for over 10 years.


In my spare time I take my cheeky Cocker Spaniel Aspall for walks. Before starting my family I enjoyed travelling and love sharing my stories with the children from all over the world.

Hi I am Courtney Anderson, I am an Early Years Practitioner here at Woodlands Nursery, working in the Bouncing Bunnies room.

Hi I am Ellie Gallagher, an apprentice here at Woodlands Nursery. I spend time in all of the rooms to get a vast array of experience with every age. I have wanted to work in childcare for a very long time. My aim is to make sure the children under my care have a safe and great experience at nursery.

 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

Hello, my name is Jenny Kent and I am the Forest School lead at Woodlands Nursery and am trained to Forest School Level 3.  I am a qualified teacher and worked for 20 years teaching and leading outdoor education as Education Officer at Foxburrow Farm, Suffolk Wildlife Trust. For the last 3 years I have been working at a Montessori Nusery and studied an 'Introduction to Montessori Training' course.

 

In my spare time I love woodland walks and enjoy gardening and keeping hens. In recent years, I have swapped my ITFC season ticket for watching my son's football team, much more exciting!
