MEET THE STAFF

Hi I am Emma White

I set up Woodlands in 2021, just after the Covid pandemic. I am one of the Directors and part owner of Woodlands Nursery.

I have worked with children for over 22 years and I am a passionate supporter of the Montessori ethos. I manage the day to day running of my nursery in Ipswich, Small World Kindergarten and Montessori.

I am passionate about creating stimulating environments for children which promote active learning through experiences and ensuring my team are supported and well valued creating a happy environment for everyone.

In my spare time I'm with my husband Rick, son Finley and my canine children, Otto and Bramble. I can mostly be found in my kitchen, cooking book in hand, trying to decide what meals to cook for friends and family.

I am immensely proud of our setting and the wonderful team that Jeanie has helped me build.

Hi I am Jeanie Butler.

I am the Managing Director and part owner of Woodlands Nursery.

I look after the daily running of the setting and curriculum.

I have my foundation degree in Early Learning at the University of Suffolk and a Level 3 in Forest School. I am the Safeguarding Lead and health and safety officer.

I strive for a stimulating, safe and enriching environment providing the best education for the children.

I would love to show you around our amazing nursery.

Hey there, my name is Lisa White and I am the deputy manager and Baby Room Manager at Woodlands Nursery.

With 8 years of experience in Early Years and a Level 6 qualification in Early Learning Practice, I am passionate about my work. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.

I am excited to meet you all!

Hi I am Hannah Vaughan, I am the Deputy Manager currently on maternity leave.

I have almost 10 years experience, working over the ages of 3 months to 7 years. I have a Level 6 qualification in Early Learning and particularly enjoy exploring the outdoor area.

In my free time, I enjoy taking my Labrador for walks, baking and my husband and I are enjoying spending time with our toddler and new baby girl.

Hi I am Louise Cowderoy,
I am an Early Years Practitioner here at Woodlands, working in the Bouncing Bunnies room. I have a degree in Children and Youth Work and have been working in Early Years for over 10 years.

In my spare time I take my cheeky Cocker Spaniels for walks with my three children. Before starting my family I enjoyed travelling and love sharing my stories with the children from all over the world.
I am currently on maternity with my third child.

Hey there! I'm Ellie Gallagher, a Level 2 nursery assistant in the Wriggling Worms baby Room.

Working in childcare has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I'm thrilled to be able to make a difference in the lives of the children under my care. When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my amazing friends and family. I'm so excited to meet you all at Woodlands and create a safe and fun environment for your little ones!

Hey there!

My name is Rosie Leggett and I am a level 3 practitioner currently working in the Baby Room at Woodlands as a room lead.

I have previously worked in all the rooms here and have also worked as a Nanny. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and taking my furry companion, Wilson, on walks. I am excited to meet everyone!
