Our large room is flooded with light from all the windows, and double doors lead out to the enchanting woodland garden. Using shelving and low-level dividers we make exciting areas for the children to explore, a home corner with a fun kitchen, a construction area for building and small world play.  In a far corner underfloor heating creates a cosy book corner to listen to stories or look at books. Art and craft materials are dotted around on open shelving and an easel so that children can create those masterpieces we all love!

Messy areas for water, sand and other messy substances (goo, water beads and shaving foam are favourites) will hide numbers and letters, making learning fun.

We will also offer a choice of daily forest school taught by our Early Years Forest School teacher QTS (with qualified teacher status) and gardening sessions to allow children as much freedom outdoors as we can. By independently learning and having lots of fun, we foster in children a strong sense of confidence that 'they can do it', which perfectly prepares them for life at school and classroom learning.
